Maybe you’ve been feeling emotionally, physically and mentally exhausted. It's as if every day is a battle to keep going. The weight you carry on your shoulders, the burdens that multiply that you tell no one about…they’ve taken a toll on your spirit.

But it's not just the exhaustion that haunts you. It's that nagging voice in the back of your mind, like a record that plays over and over of past experiences or beliefs that have shaken your confidence to the core. It's as if you're trapped in a never-ending cycle, unable to break free.

This sense of dissatisfaction with your life is overwhelming. You find yourself questioning every decision your making, doubting your abilities and self-worth. You feel like something is inherently wrong with you, as if you were born flawed and broken. 

The pain you feel runs deep, joined by confusion, loneliness, and even shame. It's an isolating experience, one that makes you feel like no one gets you. It's as if you're hiding behind a mask, smiling on the outside while feeling utterly broken on the inside.

HOW I CAN HELP

Trauma therapy can help people struggling with distressing, overwhelming and painful experiences that shook their confidence and self-esteem and teach clients tools and practices to support them towards a journey of living in the present and showing up as their true, authentic selves, connect with others, and regaining their confidence and sense of self.

It may feel impossible now, but it’s possible to embark on a journey towards regaining confidence and thriving in life. It’s possible to move towards cultivating community and taking steps towards accepting and integrating parts of yourself. You can possess the tools to feel a sense of embodied well-being. And I would be honored to support you in moving towards these visions.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

I utilize various tools and approaches, such as Feedback-informed treatment (FIT), to examine and inform our discussion of whether our method and approach are effective for you. Through careful tracking of your progress and mood using a tracking system, I have the opportunity to collaborate with you and identify any patterns and make necessary adjustments along the way. 

If appropriate, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) can be impactful as we will work together to identify memories and beliefs that may have left you feeling stuck, carefully choosing one to process.

Throughout this approach, our sessions will include, but are not limited to:

  • reviewing your resources and cultivating new ones

  • reducing the impact and effect of memories, beliefs, and trauma

  • installing positive and accurate beliefs in their place

This journey engages you in practices that allows you to tap into your own compassion and wisdom, facilitating deep and enduring change.
