audre lorde
As this is the crumbs section, I recently purchased Sister Outsider. For some time now, I’ve been curious about the erotic. In many spaces, Audre' Lorde’s essay “Uses of the Erotic: The erotic as power” was cited. I decided to purchase the entire text so I can write on it, ask questions, and just engage with what Lorde has to say.
dancing with the mountains- a class by báyò akómoláfé
These are screenshots from For the Wild’s page on Akómoláfé’s course. I was able to purchase this course. It felt like a very huge, big crumb that I must follow.
It became clear that the language of cracks, postactivism, sanctuary and more resonated with the work I’m curious about and…probably I can just follow my curiosity without having to justify it. There’s a thread that feels alive here and this felt like an investment in my “inner curriculum.”
I guess this may all be a part of my creative/inner ecosystem. Plus I get to play with monsters!
